Is Free really free?Yes, forever, for individuals and personal projects: unlimited projects, all core features, as many agents as your machine can run. Commercial use is free for 60 days.
What counts as commercial use?Work you are paid for, or work for a company. After the 60 days one person needs Solo; an organization needs Crew.
What happens when the evaluation ends?The Crew plan goes back to Free, boards stay readable, new cards need a seat. Nothing is deleted.
How many devices?One machine on Free. Three on Solo, through sync. Crew and Fleet are per person, across machines.
Do I need a model subscription too?Yes. Grid Console does not resell model access: you bring your own agent, Claude Code today, and pay them directly.
Can I write my own plugins on Free?Yes. Writing and sideloading plugins is free on every plan. Solo adds the paid premium ones.

The app is a local binaryIt runs on your machine. Nothing about the console itself needs a server.
